Stella & Goose’s Glamour Shots

This is why I can’t be left alone, snowed in with a camera and my two girls. I’m a boudoir portrait photographer in the DC and Northern Virginia area and after I got my new lens I was dying to try it out. And little did they know, Stella and Goose were going to be my “doggy boudoir” models for the day. After a ton of bribery and patience, I captured a few moments that I find absolutely adorable. <3

Sophie the Blue Doberman

It’s been cold and I haven’t had the opportunities for any photo shoots with Stella and Goose. It just gets dark so early, so needless to say I’m so ready for summer and I think the girls are too.

Remember the post of Sophie the blue dobie from early last summer? Her photos were a Christmas gift so I couldn’t post them all last year. But it actually seems like perfect timing because this day was super hot in Northern Virginia and I’d love to have that weather back!

Sophie is very picky about the new doggie friends she meets so her family got her this orange collar to let other doggie parents know. I wish I knew about this collar when Roxy was around, she was picky about her friends too.

The noises I had to make to get this face on the right got really interesting!

Oh, Miss Sophie, what a beauty you are!

Happy Halloween from Stella and Goose!

Yes, I’m one of those people. I like to dress my pups in Halloween costumes for my amusement. I’ll admit too, that I really only buy them costumes so I can take adorable photos of them. It’s always a hunt for the perfect costume and I know I can’t do anything elaborate or anything that gets strapped to their heads, well because it will come off anyway. So I found these cute Tigger and Eyore costumes at Petsmart and if you think about it, it kinda functions as a jacket for those cool nights! At least that’s how I also convinced myself (and the husband) costumes were a great idea!

So Happy Halloween from Stella Bean and Goosey!
